A Session With Ben Wallace from Mike King on Vimeo.

Amity’s Ben Wallace definitely made his presence known at the Simpel Session, by stomping a third place finish and pulling a 360 lookback to downwhip.

Ben and myself shot this edit in just a few hours on a sunny (?) Saturday on Southsea’s mini. Kid’s dialled!

Nothing incredibly exciting in this. This is just a few left over clips of Josh I found from our trip to America in October.

A Session With Ryan Winterbotham from Mike King on Vimeo.

Myself and Sam went to Farnborough last night to shoot a few snaps. 17 year old shredder Ryan Winterbotham was as usual, going off. We managed to come away with some decent photos and this solid edit in just a few hours.

A few weeks ago Ben Green shot a video for Sibot BMX shop in Smallfield, Surrey and you can see the result above. It’s a rider owned, rider run shop with an amazing selection of products from all the best distributors, so next time you’re near Crawley pop in and grab yourself some new parts.

Speak For Yourself: Isaac Lesser from Mike King on Vimeo.

This is the very first of the FFWD web series of  ‘Speak For Yourself’ (S4Y).

S4Y is a totally unscripted interview, none of the typical ‘BMX questions’ everyone is so bored of hearing;

The idea is to sit a rider down infront of a camera, and just have a conversation with a bunch of friends with the aim of really getting the best out of someone.

Over the coming months FFWD will be doing several more of these interviews, with some highly recognisable names from within the BMX industry.

First up, is Mankind, ZEAL and Rockstar’s Isaac Lesser, who in the last year, has made a strong name for himself, not only for being the friendliest guy in the UK BMX scene, but for his undeniable talent on a BMX.

Isaac got second place last year at the ‘Simpel Summer Session’ to Daniel Dhers, and is the only rider doing consistent barspin to hang 5’s.

We shot this on our final night in Estonia for the ‘Simpel Session’, just before we went to the after party, maybe this wasn’t the best of times to shoot an interview, but here’s a little insight into the mind of Isaac Lesser, as he gets in a few drinks…

An Afternoon In Watford from Mike King on Vimeo.

Watford, North London is home to some of the nicest riders to come out of London.

With what is far from a decent skatepark, it is beyond me how such a place has spawned such an array of talented riders.

We spent an afternoon hanging with some of the locals; with a brief interruption of rain, we headed into town to session a curved ledge untill the park was dry enough to sneak in a few more clips before the sun went down.

I missed a few names, but the main three riders you’ll see are Pete Briton, Jason C Earnscliffe and ZEAL’s new boy, Akin Hercules-Walker.

Guess how long it took me to shoot an edit with Amity’s Ryan Taylor during a busy practice session at the 2010 Simpel Session?
